Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Ok, so there's a huge children's party in the downstairs area which isn't the problem, but they were very busy. It was also the cheeseburger/fry weekend deal so people were coming in left and right, which isn't the problem. The problem is that no one received their food inside the restaurant (besides the birthday party) yet the drive-thru line just continued to cycle through as if their food was already ready. And to top it all off, Burgerville continued to take everyone's money inside, leaving the amount of food to be cooked and delivered to paying customers stacking up even more! Quit prioritizing the lazy people who didn't get out of their car (and who ordered behind everyone else inside the restaurant) and serve the food to people who ordered ahead of them and are patiently waiting inside. 45+ minutes and still no food = asking for your money back, unless you're in the drive thru line, in which case you would have received your food 30 minutes beforehand and have already eaten it! The manager "politely" apologized but didn't seem to be able to do anything to resolve the situation besides giving our money back. Hire competent staff and less prioritizing the drive thru line, take care of your paying customers inside! We will not be back to this Burgerville again, stay away!

I love this location. The little park adjacent to it is quite nice as well. It's an interesting set up also. Kind of a two story building. I've never seen another Burgerville quite like it. It's usually my stop for a snack after visiting the dentist (I know doesn't make any sense) but it's close by and usually a twice a year event so there you have it. I like the specialty items they normally come up with. This is not an inexpensive fast food place but I find it's better tasting than most quick stops. I'll be back again.

We need Burgerville USA in California! This place deserves the reputation that In-n-Out has. And those rosemary fries....brilliant!

Always love a burgerville cheesburger but the workers in here did not know what they were doing. I think they were confused due to to many workers behind the counter.....

A Northwest themed fast food joint. I like their seasonal food like Walla Walla onion rings, fried Portobello mushrooms, fried asparagus. I finally tried the Spicy Anasazi burger which is a bean/vegetable patty and it was good. The fresh strawberry milkshake is awesome!

Mmmm... burgers. You know you want one. When I have that special craving, I (gasp!) go elsewhere. While this is my favorite Burgerville location, because it has a cute little park with a white picket fence and large willow tree, I'm just not a fan of their burgers or the higher prices. What I do enjoy are their seasonal offerings... yukon gold fries, sweet walla walla onion rings, caramel apple or berry shakes. Burgerville is constantly doing fundraisers for our schools and sports teams, so they seems like the kinder, gentler fast food chain. I do wish I enjoyed their food more.

I'm not impressed. The burger was unbelievably bland and the fries were ordinary, to be generous about it. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was good either. Let's talk about the tables. I LOVE the idea of letting me just be a customer and having someone on staff to bus the tables. The more I think of it, the more put out I am about the expectation that I'll do this at other fast food places. BUT... on the night we made our Burgerville debut, the table buser clearly was on break... or just plain gone. Fully two thirds -- no, three-quarters -- of the tables were covered in dining debris. It looked like four tour buses worth of people had left all at once and it had the feeling of having looked like that a while.

So... burgerville. Normally a great experience. This location is not our normal. We usually go to one off Carmen drive and have pretty good service (this is a fast food place after all). Been standing here for about 15 minutes and have yet to be delivered the two milkshakes I ordered (the only thing I ordered). Granted, they're super busy, but they are either seriously understaffed or Gordon Ramsay needs to intervene. Either way, tread lightly when coming here on a busy day. (Once we got our shakes they were tasty.)

No garbage cans, wow the staff here busses your table. Ben our "server" was awesome! We have never ate inside but will in the future thanks to a wonderful experience. Thank you Ben!

You get what you pay for with fast food. The food here is really good, and it is not cheap. Locally sourced, seasonal menu, tasty stuff. I highly recommend the turkey burger and pretty much all seasonal items. Although, only get the sweet potato fries (seasonal) if you will be eating them hot. They are disappointing if you eat them cold.

First, let me say the employees are some of the nicest people ever. It's also clean and the food is always great. However, EVERY time we go to the drive-thru they get our order wrong. I used to call and say something but I actually had to do it so often that I stopped even though they were always great about it and would comp meals. The other thing is the iced tea and it's that way from every Burgerville I've ever been to. It's straight-up rancid and unpalatable. I keep thinking it will change since I don't drink soda and have no other healthy options, but it never does. How is this such a problem? Making tea is easy!

Super fabulous! My first time there this past Wednesday, the staff was so friendly! The young lady in the drive through acknowledged our first time visiting, she suggested the fresh raspberry products and explained how they are just touched with a bit of homemade love to suit just about anyone! She was so happy we decided to try the "fresh" onion rings! She told us " they are always made fresh, never frozen". Boy was she right they were fantastic!!!! We drove from West Linn and will do it again! You guys are doing something right! Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

Love b'ville but avoid the chicken sandwich. Thin, dry and cooked in fishy oil. Yuck. 2 stars for historical good eats, but this time flat stank.

The shakes (Caramel Apple! Fresh Strawberry! Hazelnut!) and desserts are amazing. The food is medicore and overpriced (granted, we're Californians who are loyal to In-n-Out). If only In-n-Out and Burgerville overlapped geographically...

  • Ben F.

I think this is the closest thing to In-n-Out we have in Oregon and I am glad it is close to me. They are deeply committed to sustainability as a company and what makes them really shine is their constant rotation of seasonal, local food options like Walla Walla onions, Yukon Gold fries, strawberry shakes, hazelnut chocolate shakes..you get the drift. Oh and he turkey burger is really, really good as well as the regular beef.

Burgerville is my favorite fast food. I went here today because, as you all should know WALLA WALLA ONION RINGS ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went the night before their big arrival thinking they would be available, but sadly, I had to wait one more day. I was there the first day they were in, and they were just as good as I remembered. Today was my second time back and I am spreading the love. I am telling all I know about Walla walla onion rings.

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Portland. They use locally-grown ingredients, and beef that doesn't have hormones and antibiotics. Also, Tillamook cheddar cheese on your burger = delicious!!! If you've never had one, you MUST try the Chocolate Hazelnut milkshake. It's a seasonal thing, I think they have them late winter/early spring. SOOOOO good!

  • Dave S.

The greatest of fast foods. I carried a list of all their locations on my Palm Pilot so I could always find the one nearby. But the location in West Linn has always been our favorite. Good quality, locally grown, fresh food, reasonably priced for the quality and with employees that really love their jobs! Latest thing are the seasonal specials, a real treat to try something new.

  • Teresa Y.

My friend and I came here to grab milkshakes and smoothies to go. Excellent chocolate monkey! Never had anything like it. There were actual chunks of bananas in the smoothie. Chocolate was not overly sweet. Consistency was thick, but nothing you couldn't slurp out of a regular sized straw. Price was a little high for what I'd normally pay for a 24 oz smoothie, but it was well worth it. Yummy!

Not a super nice restaurant but great food, all local, natural, and seasonal. Great burgers, fries, shakes, everything. Kind of expensive but pretty dang good!

  • Martin H.

Fast food at it best! Often local in season ingredients like Walla onions; sweet potato fries; strawberry smoothies; etc. Local grass-fed beef. I have eaten at least 10 of the different Burgervilles over the last 5 years. I understand that at least 1 location now serves alcohol!
